ORTHOPEDIC EVALUATION

Catalog description

This course focuses on the recognition and evaluation of common orthopedic injuries to the upper extremity, lower extremity, lumbar spine, and pelvis. The course will use lecture and in-class demonstration of specific special tests and techniques used to assess common injuries. This course will prepare students to move further in higher level orthopedic and neuro assessment courses within graduate education. Includes two lecture periods and one laboratory period.
