Catalog description

Application by engineers of economic principles. Presentation of the following topics will demonstrate their relevance to both personal finance and engineering project investment: time value of money, money management, depreciation, taxes, inflation, risk, financial statements, and debt management. Analysis techniques include present worth, annual cash flow, rate of return, and benefit-cost. Emphasis will be placed on Biblically-centered stewardship of time and money and developing a Christian worldview of finances and investment. Offered every spring. UG
