Catalog description
Designed to teach reading strategies and assessment techniques through the genre of young adult literature. Introduces the genre of texts targeted for adolescent/young adult readers. Prepares teachers of middle and secondary English language arts to develop reader-centered approaches and multicultural curricula for teaching and learning in a diverse society. Offered in alternate fall semesters.
