CHILD DEV FIELD EXPERIENCE I

Catalog description

This introductory field experience course offers students the opportunity to observe, assist, and engage with children and professionals in a variety of settings that support child and family development-including classrooms, healthcare environments, and community-based programs. Designed for students pursuing careers in education, child life, social services, and other helping Professions, the course emphasizes foundational skills in observation, communication, and professional conduct. Students will gain insight into the daily operations of child-centered environments and begin to connect developmental theory to practice - 30 field experience hours required.
