Catalog description
An introduction to descriptive and inferential statistical methods with an emphasis on the evaluation of business problems using computer technology. Topics include graphical descriptive techniques, measures of central tendency and dispersion, sampling, probability, discrete and continuous probability distributions, statistical inferences about the mean including estimation and hypothesis testing, and simple linear regression.
