Description: Discussion of clinical nutrition for dogs and cats, designing a feeding plan for small animal patients and nutritional management of various disease states. Discussions will include nutritional assessment, how to read a pet food label, how to evaluate unconventional diets, feline nutrition, and nutritional case management. Types of cases that will be covered include canine and feline obesity, gastrointestinal diseases and critical care cases.
