Description: Scientific, evidence-based veterinary practice is based on an understanding of the normal function of the veterinary patient. The purpose of this course is to provide the students in the veterinary professional curriculum with clinically relevant knowledge of normal physiology through the full range of animal organization (cellular, tissue, organ, organ system, and organism) as a continuation of Physiology & Histology I. This course will also provide the necessary foundation for subsequent courses throughout the curriculum related to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of animal diseases.
