Description: A comprehensive view of newly-emerged Central Asian states examining the history, politics, economics, geography, and culture of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan as reflected in their thoughts, religion, literature, and architecture, in the past, and the strategic importance of their natural wealth for the present and future.
