Description: Advanced principles focused on herbicide mode and mechanism of action, factors influencing herbicide activity, herbicide formulations, and application techniques. Selection of appropriate herbicides for various weed scenarios, herbicide application, soil-herbicide interaction, and identification of herbicide injury symptomology on various crops and weeds. Activities emphasize sprayer calibration, herbicide application strategies, and close examination of herbicide symptomology in field and greenhouse settings. Previously offered as AGRN 4113. May not be used for Degree Credit with PLNT 4113 .
