Catalog description

Description: Issues like poverty, climate change, immigration and the development and distribution of medical treatments can best be understood as global issues. In Global Ethics, students will study a variety of global ethical challenges and learn how those from different countries/cultures understand and respond to these challenges. The goal of this course is not to convince students that one particular viewpoint is correct. Rather, students will be encouraged to determine what they believe is the best way to understand and ethically respond to some of the global ethical issues that currently challenge u
