Description: Preparatory course for Opportunity Orange Scholars as an introduction to employment/internship. Introduces students to the concept of employment, careers, and professional goal setting. Lays the groundwork for students to make decisions about career interests, employment supports, and personal employment goals. Required of all first semester OOS students. The developmental course is designed to work in conjunction with other Opportunity Orange Scholars courses to promote lifelong learning and advance the knowledge and skills necessary for competitive employment and interdependent living.
