Catalog description

Description: The purpose of this course is to provide undergraduate students with an interdisciplinary exploration of intercultural competence and culturally diverse perspectives on health and wellness. This course will introduce students to the concepts of cultural diversity and global concepts in relation to health, wellness, and healthcare beliefs and practices. Additionally, students will engage internationally with foreign communities to challenge their own perspectives and deepen their understanding of health and wellness issues in globally diverse settings and population groups.
