Catalog description
Description: Computer and laboratory exercises to introduce students with a wide range of biology experience to the practical principles of synthetic biology. Students learn the design of genetic circuits and CRISPR-Cas systems and create & test these designs in the laboratory using industry-standard molecular biology techniques. Same course as BIOC 3162 . Students are strongly encouraged to co-enroll in BIOC/MICR3153 using the appropriate prefix according to their major.
