Catalog description

Description: Introduction to aerodynamic concepts; governing equations of gas flows in one and two dimensions. Inviscid, incompressible flow, flow over airfoils, flow over finite wings, 3D flow; Compressible flow; Basic thermodynamic and dynamic equations. Nozzle and duct flows, choking, normal and oblique shock waves, Prandtl-Meyer expansions, subsonic compressible flow over airfoils, compressible flow through nozzles, intro into viscous flows.
