Description: Provides a broad overview and deep exploration into the evolving body of relevant health communication research, theory, and practice, examining the powerful influences of communication on the promotion of public health. Examines the evolving use of new digital communication technologies in health communication interventions and the implications of these new technologies for designing future health communication campaigns. Students will have a broad understanding of major areas of study in health communication and specialized knowledge in an area of interest.
