Catalog description
Description: This course will outline key concepts in geomorphology including how different geological processes have shaped and are shaping the surface of the Earth. Summary of different geomorphological research methods. Discussion on how exogenic processes such as water, glacier and wind weathering produce different landscapes. Discussion on how endogenic processes such as volcanism and tectonism contributes to geomorphological changes. Discussion of how geomorphological changes affect the climate. No credit for students with credit in GEOL 3073 .
