Health geography provides unique and powerful insights for understanding connections between wellness and place. This course will introduce basic concepts and tools of maps, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and map analysis. It will also demonstrate their application in the context of public health, including infectious disease, environmental health, urban health, health resource accessibility, and more.
