Description: History of Firearm Identification will guide students through the inception of the discipline through early examinations and developments, which led to the common practices of today. The class covers broad topics such as case studies, contributors, technologies, and methods and challenges students to evaluate how and why the discipline has changed since the 19th century. This course may be taken concurrently with or after Firearms & Toolmarks.
