Description: Forensic Investigation of Impaired Vehicle Operation is designed to introduce a student to the fundamental aspects of investigating incidents involving impaired vehicle operations. Students will learn or review concepts in human performance as they relate to vehicle operation. Some topics will include case law of traffic stops, pharmacology, human performance assessment, mental health, and standardized field sobriety tests.
