Catalog description

Description: This course addresses topics in international finance and open economy macroeconomics. Topics include Structural Vector Autoregressions (SVAR), Bayesian estimation of DSGE models, state-dependent local projection models, sovereign default, and monetary and fiscal policy interaction. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the quantitative tools necessary for rigorous empirical research and policy analysis in international finance. Course previously offered as ECON 5613.
