Catalog description

Description: Implementation science is the study of factors that influence the successful use of effective innovations in practice to improve outcomes. This course provides theoretical foundations, practical tools and authentic learning opportunities to build the knowledge and skills needed to implement innovations in real-world settings. The focus of the course is on building capacity. Students will learn implementation science theories, models, and frameworks as well as methods and tools to understand the determinants that facilitate or impede implementation at all levels of the implementation process.
