Description: Methods to assess and support students with reading difficulties. Assessment tools and techniques, including screening, progress-monitoring, diagnostic, and outcome assessments. Practice reading and interpreting common diagnostic tests and informal diagnostic surveys to assess phonological and phoneme awareness, decoding skills, fluency, comprehension, spelling, and writing. May not be used for degree credit with CDIS 4572 .
