Catalog description

Description: This course provides a comprehensive study of the regulatory mechanisms within the major organ systems that enable the human body to maintain homeostasis. The fundamentals of physiology are emphasized in discussions of the integration of structure and function in all systems of the body, along with the integration of function among systems. Problem-solving activities are utilized to develop student understanding and enhance subsequent earning — both in the basic and clinical sciences.
