Study of dramatic structure and methods of analysis as a preparation for producing, performing, directing, designing, writing, and criticizing scripts. Introduction to analyzing scripts to determine elements of struc- ture, plot, genre, character, language, theme, and aesthetics. Texts will include works from a variety of diverse and inclusive playwrights.
