A survey of the Hebrew Bible and New Testament in their cultural, histori- cal, and literary contexts. Interpretation includes use of the Bible in art, fi lm, TV , and other media. (fall, spring, summer) 1061-3 Mission Studies 1–3 An exploration of the basic principles of faith-based mission work and an experiential application of those principles in a local or international set- ting. Cultural identity and complexity of the mission setting emphasized. Variable topic course students may enroll in more than once.
