Catalog description

Students qualifi ed for advanced study and approved by the department work in a community organization or program relevant to their course of study. This experience is initiated by the student and is both structured and evaluated by the faculty mentor. Approval of the department chair required. (fall) 4991-6 Independent Study 1–6 Opportunities for students with suffi cient curiosity and demonstrated reliability to work on a selected problem with a minimum of restriction and routine.
