Catalog description

The Geriatrics course is designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of the special needs of the geriatric population. The course will focus on pharmacotherapeutics, clinical medicine topics, and clinical diagnostics specifi c to the elderly. The course will also present physical examination techniques utilizaed in geriatric medicine. At the conclusion of the course, students will have an understanding of how to manage the special needs of our older population.
