Catalog description

This course examines healthcare issues related to populations. Measures of population health and global health indicators are applied to evaluate the health status of selected populations. Students explore global and lifespan healthcare issues with an emphasis on factors that create vulner- ability for specifi c populations. The infl uence of moral, ethical, economic, and access issues on the health of populations is examined. The effects of emerging health threats to populations are identifi ed.
