Statistical Analysis I

Catalog description

This course covers intermediate statistical analysis, including the logic of statistical inference, probability and sampling, tests of statistical hypoth- eses, error theory, confi dence interval estimates and procedures, intro- duction to analysis of variance, and selected nonparametric methods. The content also addresses bivariate correlation techniques, measures of association, and simple linear regression. Students use selected statisti- cal computing software for relevant data analysis.
