Advanced Theory Development

Catalog description

This course explores various approaches to theory development. Strategies for concept identifi cation, specifi cation of relationships, and theory clarifi cation are discussed. Students explore theory construction, application, evaluation, and testing, as well as the relationship between theory development and research. The coursework involves production of a mid-range theory.
