This course focuses on advanced healthcare policy formulation and trends at local, state, national, and international levels. Students interpret multiple complex infl uences on the regulation, funding, and delivery of healthcare. These infl uences may include economics, culture, the media, healthcare reform, politics and special interests, environment, ethics, and other issues. Special attention is given to political and professional strat- egies for creating and enacting effective policy change.
