Aural Skills I

Catalog description

Students study the basic elements of dictation and sight-singing, including both simple and compound meters, and major and minor keys, as well as diatonic harmony, via short harmonic dictations. The course is intended to be taken concurrently with a corresponding theory class that is taught by the same instructor. Open to all music majors.
