Catalog description

These courses deal with the basic aspects of music, including notation, key signatures, intervals, elementary harmonic structure, ear training, and simple sight-reading. Designed for the nonmusic major. Based on the results of the Music Theory Diagnostic Exam, music majors may be placed in Music Fundamentals. Credit is not acceptable for the B.M. degree.
