Catalog description

Introduces students to operations management concepts as practices in today’s leading organizations and critical enabling role played by technol- ogy in supporting management and operations. Operations management topics include forecasting, materials requirements management, and decision theory. Information technology categories and applications are covered as are the use of management support systems (expert systems, decision support systems, executive information systems, and group- ware) and mobile technologies.
