Catalog description

Supplements and extends ESS 3213 with practical experience to apply biomechanical concepts. Students will: analyze motion from a mechani- cal and anatomical perspective; quantify linear and angular characteris- tics of motion; evaluate quantitative relationships between angular and linear motion characteristics of a rotating body; quantify cause and effect relationships between force and linear and angular motion. Students must take ESS 3213 concurrently or prior to ESS 3241. Two hours of lab per week.
