A study of nutrition for health through the balance of nutrients with physical needs, nutritional requirements during all stages of life and for improve- ment of health and fi tness, nutrient metabolism, nutrition and illness, nutri- tional defi ciencies and excesses, nutritional assessment, and economic and cultural infl uences affecting nutritional states. Prerequisite for ESS students only: ESS 1602.
