This is an issues approach to economics. Elements of economic theory are used to provide a basic understanding of individual issues such as how markets for specifi c goods and services work, what causes prices and output of these goods to change, how unemployment and infl ation and budget defi cits are interrelated, and how the American economy is interrelated with the global economy. For nonbusiness majors only.
