Catalog description

Designed to introduce non-computer science majors to the fundamentals of programming and computational thinking. Focus is on teaching stu- dents how to solve real-world problems using code, without requiring any prior programming experience. Topics include basic programming con- cepts such as variables, data types, loops, conditionals, functions, and fi le handling. Students will also explore algorithmic thinking and learn how to break down complex problems into manageable steps.
