A course for the nonscience major that includes the basic vocabulary and concepts of chemistry and the acquisition of chemical knowledge and applications of chemistry. Three hours of lecture/discussion plus three hours of laboratory each week. CHEM 1014 may not be taken for credit if credit has already been granted for CHEM 1104.
