Catalog description

This course, intended for majors in biology and related fi elds, focuses on the structure and physiology of microorganisms, with an emphasis on bacteria. The skills required to handle and study bacteria are acquired in the lab portion of the course. Three hours of lecture/discussion and three hours of laboratory per week.
