Catalog description
This course is an examination of the fundamentals of acting from a theoretical perspective. Students discover the history, methodologies, theories, and aesthetics of acting. They learn and apply fundamental acting vocabulary and engage in script analysis and critique of acting performances. This course prepares students to understand basic acting theory in performance and develops the skills of interpretation of drama and interpretation of text.
