Catalog description
This physical activity course builds upon the basic concepts learned in Beginning Tai Chi and explores Tai Chi as an ancient martial art form. Students cultivate and implement a comprehensive personal Tai Chi practice as a lifetime fitness and leisure activity. Benefits of Tai Chi include stress reduction; improved balance and injury prevention through improvement in joint flexibility; increased range of motion; and a general sense of wellness. Tai Chi practice is modifiable for all ages and levels of fitness.
