Catalog description
This course provides a journey through the history of life, from its beginnings about four billion years ago to the heyday of the dinosaurs and extinction of giant mammals at the end of the last Ice Age. The course provides an introduction to the study of prehistoric life on the basis of fossils, evolution, mass extinctions, and global change. One local afternoon field trip is required.
