Catalog description

The principle of guidance and positive discipline based on contemporary research and child development is discussed in this course. Application of the principles of effective communication; understanding child development and behavior; appropriate limits and rules; and structuring problem solving and consequences are discussed. This course is appropriate for teachers, parents, and others working with children.
