Catalog description

An introductory course using models of the domestic and international economy to understand national income, unemployment, inflation, economic growth, inequality, the financial system, and monetary, fiscal, and other economic policies. This introductory course focuses on aggregate economic analysis. Topics include aggregate measures of economic activity; macroeconomic equilibrium; money and financial institutions; monetary and fiscal policy; international economics; and economic growth.
