Catalog description

In this noncredit course, students learn to enhance the emotional impact of animated sequences by emulating specific look development criteria, carefully tailoring lighting to create the desired mood, atmosphere, and focal points. Through hands-on experiences, students employ a range of advanced lighting, shading, and rendering techniques to effectively meet character and narrative requirements in the production of a visually compelling short animation. Not applicable to associate degree.
