Catalog description
This course is designed for all students and provides a foundational and practical introduction to computer and data science. The course includes fundamentals in programming, computation analysis, and statistics in the context of data-driven problems. Through this course, students are able to learn how to interpret and ask questions about their data with the support of computational and inferential tools. In this integrated course, students focus on computer programming to effectively use computational, simulation, and modeling tools. They analyze real-world data from diverse domains, applying their skills to solve practical problems.
