Catalog description

In this course, we examine culture and communication from domestic and global perspectives, while exploring how our own cultural identities are co-constructed. We explore communication, culture, theories, language, and patterns of behavior with others across dimensions of race, class, nation, histories, power, privilege, and many other categories of identity in order to be able to practice ethical and effective communication across cultural differences.
