Catalog description
This course emphasizes three-dimensional glass, using advanced techniques in kiln forming, casting, abrasive blasting, lamination, and coldworking. Students may be asked to purchase small amounts of glass, clay, plaster/silica refractory, silicon carbide grit, blast resist, wax, and flexible mold material. Students in this course may take a field trip to an art museum.
