Experience in an industrial organization and the submitting of an acceptable report on the work done. Prereq: 4002 and 4202, and enrollment as a WeldEng-BS major; or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for 489. 4193.01 Individual Studies in Welding Engineering U ½ - 6 Non-thesis research investigations under the directions of instructors. Comprehensive report required. Prereq: Enrollment as a WeldEng-BS major or MatScEn-BS major; and permission of instructor. Repeatable to a maximum of 12 cr hrs or 12 completions.
